Canoeing

Paddle down the historic Potomac River, suspended in time between Western Maryland and West Virginia.  Ridges and valleys create a perfect backdrop for a peaceful float and fish, or a simple cruise around islands filled with geese, deer, and great blue herons.  Canoeing combines relaxation and adventure in a truly unique way.  A good river guide makes the experience seem effortless.

   

  

 

Learn to paddle a kayak on the lake and then the river.  Instructors are available to teach the beginner levels.  Solo kayaking allows solitude while experiencing the water with others.  Rolling lessons are also available upon request.  The beauty of the river or the lake is more intimately seen in a kayak, which brings you to the water’s edge.  Both white water kayaks and recreational kayaks are available.
